Question ipod nano-uploading music using WMP???

so my gf just picked up the newest ipod nano. how do you upload music to it using windows media player? please keep in mind that i do not own an ipod and have never used one. i spend $ on more important things...like my car.

thanks for any help you can give.

EDIT: NOT LOOKING FOR ITUNES. DO NOT WANT IT.

okay dl itunes..then add all ur music to the itunes library...and plug in ur ipod..and it'll do the uploading automatically...if u have more songs than what can fit on the ipod...theres an option..where u check the songs u want on the ipod...or u can make a special playlist for the songs u want on ur ipod...itunes..is user friendly

yah if you have an iPod you pretty much have to have iTunes to load music on it..doesn't mean you have to use iTunes to GET the music, just the means of transfer. Now with any other portable mp3 device you wouldn't need it.

Sync your iPod with Windows Media Player

sad it used to be free...but its worth it cos iTunes is such an awful program.

and for the other comments, you do not have to use iTunes, Winamp, media monkey, yamipod, foobar and etc lots of other free programs support ipod, but all those programs arent as good as WMP.

i know how u feel... when u make a thread and specifically asked for something and ppl suggest something else i did that on purpose...

seriously tho... i barely mess with my iPod and when i do it's just on iTunes... plug it up and it takes care of everything for ya...

i've only heard of the newer iPods being used on other programs but that again is still not tested by me...

I spent a very long time looking for something that would sync my ipod using wmp, because i was very against itunes for a while aswell (crazy memory hog!). I tried out pretty much every 3rd party software available. The ONLY one which I found that allows you to sync through wmp is MGTEK dopisp, the one mentioned above. I used it for a while until the trial ran out. I totally reccomend it, it was an excellent wmp plugin.

Now i am back to itunes, you will be too one day!

I just say this because i have tried literally every piece of software out there to transfer music onto an ipod, but nothing comes close to the ease and speed of itunes. Anyway if you like MGTEK dopisp, buy it, all the cracked versions online are fake.
