$50 for a fluffed up demo? no thanks.
it used to be $30 and even then i thought it was steep, but i admit i would have bought it had i had a modded PS2..yes PS3 is region free, but now $50? pass.

its way better than the demo... both the us and japanese version.

you misunderstand, this is a demo. prologue = demo. its just a big demo.

prologue demo = demo of a demo.

so you buy this demo for $50...then you buy the game for $60 when it comes out...so all in all...you just paid $120 with taxes on this game instead of just waiting and buying it for $60 when it comes out...u just lost $50 buddy.

no the cars are different than GT4, so is the physics engine. definetly an upgrade.

here's what i have to tell you about GT5 and GT5P.

the GTHD that was out when the PS3 was just released used the old GT4's physics and sound engine. the new GT5P demo that was released before GT5P was a taste of the GT5P, it still didn't have the hand moving to shift gears yet, and some people complain because they play it in arcade mode, there's two modes, simulation and arcade. and GT5 has a total complete remake of the physics and simulation engine so it's way different than GTHD or GT4. and GT5P demo and GT5P uses the GT5 engine of course. GT5P is fixed with hand movement to shift.

and oh by the way, GT5P the demo has atleast 30 cars and 5 race track as well as online play, the online is not available until december 25th where there will be a free patch to download for those who bought the GT5P game.

GT5P will come out in north america in February 19th and in uk in march 23rd. the real actual GT5 game will come out in December 2008. and so have a good time playing GT5P until then, you will be able to transfer money from GT5P to GT5.

I created a thread on GT5 awhile back and here it is for those who missed it. Are you ready for GT5?

oh by the way, it's confirmed by Polyphony Digital that GT5 will have car damage later on and you'll be able to download it, it won't be available for all cars because not every company wants to see their car damaged, and certain cars will have limited damage due to some companies won't let their car being completely totaled. and GT6 will not be planned for awhile or won't even be planned at all because they will be busy working on GT5 and patches for it to make it better with more things after GT5 comes out.

you'll also be able to download full episodes of top gear to watch on GT TV, GT TV is bassically a feature that comes with GT5, and you'll be able to download and watch videos on it.
