I will give you that that is the biggest problem with Apple in enterprise, but that's really just how they do business. Not much to do about it. Honestly though it sounds as though there are some more fundamental problems that need to be fixed on the network. There's no reason the Macs and PCs can't coexist on the network normally. It's done all of the time.

As far as your parallels problem, have you considered using Virtualbox instead? It's free and owned by Sun (now Oracle). Worked fine for me from day one on 10.6 but then again it's not a commercial product so you can't expect commercial support (but hey, it's free!).

exactly...we have to have support for whatever we install. We do oracle stuff here, so im sure if we worked a deal w/ Sun Microsystems we could get support. I'll check into it at a later time because it's quittin time!

No its not very old. Its got a EVGA nforce 680i SLI Mobo, 4GB Ram, 2x 8800GT, 500GB HDD, 23" LG LCD (50000:1 contrast ratio), 2nd Gen g15 gaming keyboard, Logitech MX Revolution mouse, Logitech Z-5500 speakers, Coolermaster Cosmos S case.

It will play any game out right now at full graphics. I just find that all the games I play run fine on my macbook pro .

Set up the G15 on the Macbook Pro and use it as a media center

I've not useed the MX Revolution mouse but I absolutely love my G5. Adjustable weighting (I like a heavy mouse) and the cloth wrapped cable so it doesnt stick and get stuck on things.

Awesome, I got Parallels running with Flashpro in coherence mode so its like having Flashpro look like its own program in OS X.
