They usually come out in September. I'd wait until then.

That's how I ended up with a Mac. My sister was using her old ibook from 2000 and the thing was still chugging along. I was on laptop # 3 in the same amount of time (one had a manufacturing defect and the mother board went nuclear. Averatec) and two Sony viaos. I still own my first one which somehow has lived through 2 viruses.

Now I'm on a Macbook that I've had for almost 2 years. This thing holds up.

would the best way to transfer all my stuff on the new one is to migrate? then make her an admin acct on the one i have now and just transfer/delete from mb to mb?

she knows someone that works for apple so the black mb would be a little over a grand.

that seems like a nice upgrade IMO. I wonder what discount my government rate would be. I can get the white one under a grand, but the black seems better.

can anyone help?!?!!!
Does anyone know how I can modify the calendars in Office for Mac 08 using word. Word has calendar templets but I don't know how to modify their dates. There is an option to change the month and year, but the days don't change (are not modified in accordance to the year and month). Before owning a mac, I would use publisher for Windows, and you could choose the year and month, which would modify the entire calendar.
If you don't know about office for mac, I also have iWork, so if you know how to make a calendar with iWork let me know.
If someone knows, pleasssseee let me know!!! :)

So my brand new MacBook that I bought in December, which has never left its case or been put on any non-flat surface, had its palm rests start to crack (where the lid shuts).

The LED light on the charger stopped lighting up, and cracks appeared near the cooling vent.

Took it to Apple and they took care of it without question. They put a few scratches on my pristine cover, but overall I'm happy with it.
