Wii, PS3, XBOX 360...or computer...

I got a Wii on release day! I was so excited to get it and so pumped up to play it. When I got home and hooked it all up, it was a BLAST! (for about 30 minutes) Needless to say, I sold it not more than 2 weeks after I bought it.

If you are looking for a novelty or something to play with you kids/nieces/nephews, Wii is the way to go. If you wanna play "game" games, get a 360 or PS3. I learned the hard way that the Wii wasn't what I wanted.

Now I've got the best of both worlds.



P.S. PC > consoles for FPS games. I love the mouse and keyboard set-up.

well i never did anything...im actually going to look into upgrading the computer in the near future...

my plans are upgrade the 8600 GT video card to an 8800 video card and possible a second 22" screen...

anyone have any opinions on that? i dont think spending all that money on a game platform is worth it...i spend a ton of time on my comp and figure thats the best investment...their really isn't any other aspect of my comp that needs improvement and i like the idea of having both a regular levels style and online game play...i like role playing games and sports games...

what do you guys think and any suggestions or things i should look at?

if you already have a PC this is by far the best deal out there.
22" screens also readily go on sale for $200 if you keep watch on the internet deals. try cheking fatwallet.com from time to time.

but this is all considering you actually like PC games more than Wii or PS3 games really. for Role playing and sports games, a PS3 might be the best deal out there, unless you mean like MMORPG like Guild wars and WoW.

if it were my money i would go for the PS3...just my opinion tho

ps3 > wii ... who needs a wii when the ps3 six axxis controller does the same thing. who's tried the bowling game for ps3? it's nice

360 > ps3 for online gaming + more games

ps3 > 360 for internet, blu-ray, certain GREAT games, etc.

pc for having a pc sake. LOL.
