Heavenly Sword... and some other PS3 questions.
Well my wife asked me what i wanted for xmas... I told her a ps3 and BAM! She comes home with an 80GB.
She let me test it out by making sure it powered up and did latest system update... while that happened she fell asleep and I grabbed the demos for GTHD, Sega Rally Revo, and Heavenly Sword. After the updates it went back in the box until xmas... ![]() This this gets a bit hot, any issues watching blu-ray, long gaming sessions? Should I get one of those cooler units for it? Do they work or cause them to overheat? Your thoughts are welcomed Thanks. -Lou |

It seems to get hot but cools itself pretty well. I've had mine on for 4-5 hours at a time (playing a game, then internet, then leaving it on to charge the controller) and never had any problems. Just keep it in a semi-open area and it should have enough air to keep itself cool.
My only gripe with the one I bought (60GB unit) had SHIT A/V cables it came with. My TV has lines going up it, now, and the sound has a loud humming noise that goes along with it. The premium cable that came with my 360 was a billion times nicer. I know the cooling unit I had for my 360 (the "Intercooler") just caused the 360 to never work. It was junk, honestly. |
