anyone here into Guild of wars ??

well i just wnat to know if any one was into guild of wars adn if u just start do have have to grab all the cds (games versions) to start playin or can i just buy the latest game and play

Guild Wars technically doesn't have expansions. I have only played Nightfall, and I *still* haven't beat it. Just grab the latest one and start playing that scenario.

It's pretty fun. I especially like having an MMO when you're not necessarily forced to join pick-up groups, as there are NPCs that you can hire to help you out.

AFAIK, each game is a completely separate game into itself. So you just buy the game you want to play. Since Guild Wars is a no-pay subscription, you pay production costs by purchasing each game as they release at about 50 bucks.

The new one that is coming out, eye of the north, requires you to have one of the previous 3 guild wars game. That one isn't stand alone.

i have the original and nightfall...nightfall is pretty good, but after i heard about Guild Wars 2 I'm ditching Guild Wars for awhile lol. They've already put out some good ideas to improve their game i.e. never ending, unbounded (or a very high level cap),much more integrate communities, and races.
