to go from 1.1.1 make sure you have the latest itunes and then connect your iphone. it will say that there is a new update for iphone. but most likely anything you've installed will be wiped-could be wrong, i've never done a jailabreak.

It basically seems like Safari and other parts of your phone will act differently than everyone elses. Safari has only crashed, and went to my home screen about 5-10 times so far, not much, since I got it 2 days after it came out.

My friend got his and returned his iPhone because his Safari kept crashing on him all day long, his music would also stop playing randomly and his iPod function would also crash on him. He kept it for about a week or two, didn't even wait for an update.

Safari is actually pretty stable in 1.1.1, once 1.1.2 was released it started crashing. Its not as stable as it used to be in 1.1.1, but 1.1.3 fixed a bunch of problems.

I find this happens a lot when I'm browsing a page with lots of pics. I'm running on 1.1.2 unlocked.

1.1.1 and 1.1.2 will crash alot when you don't reboot your iphone daily.
1.1.3 won't crash as much but it will stil crash and becomes annoying. Sometimes when you hit any links, websites would not open. Once again, if that happens, then you need to reboot the iphone.

How to reboot the iphone?
Press and hold the black button that's on top of the iphone until you see a message that says "Turn off ipod". Turn it off then turn it back on.
Pressing on the black button without any turning off screen will not reboot the iphone.

then your wireless router must be set to an old-version password-protected software. Update the Firmware

It is a 1.1.3 and my iTunes is 7.6. I have 2wire936, 2wire548, and 2wire769 wifi connections but it asks for a password and I don't know it, would you know how to find it. I don't use a wireless router.

looks like your bouncing around wireless networks from your neighbors if you dont have a wireless router... so only they would know the ssid keys they set for it. Im pretty sure they wouldnt like you accessing their network tho, so you should get your own wi-fi if you want to fully utilize your iphones speed or look for one that says UNSECURED
