How to delete audio songs from iphone??? and aslo pictures which i sync through mac? i can delete the pics which i took from iphone's camera but not the one i sync.

go to the folder where your pictures are being synced. Remove the pictures you don't want synched.
As far as the songs go, I think you have to remove it from itunes as well. Or option to manually add the songs you want. I don't play too much with itunes, so someone else please give your 2cents.

Im considering either a 16 gig ipod touch or a iPhone, any major issues i should know about with the iPhone? is it really worth it?

No repeat track, repeat album, repeat all function.
No 3G.
No long range from the wifi as in if you're 30 feet away, it won't pick up.reception.
No quality sound from the speakers.
No quality sound when making a phonecall.
No AIM/MSN/Yahoo messenger installed.
*** text msg system.
Starting and cheapest plan is 59.99 + tax + 10% fee of the total for being an AT&T customer.
If you use the roam system(data and/or phone) then you'll be paying ALOT and by ALOT i mean an arm, a leg and a penis)

Ok, so I've had my iPhone for a few days and it's time to rant!

Being such a music-centric device, these are the most glaring annoyances with the iPhone:
1. Recessed earphone jack - I have no idea why. Why Steve Jobs, why?
2. External speakers suck majorly. Again, Steve, why?
3. Speaker volume is very low (external and headphones). It's odd... full blast and it's quiet for some situations.
4. No graphic equalizer - no way to tweak the output.
5. No dedicated play/pause/next buttons (but there's a dedicated Mute button! )
6. Supplied earphones suck REAL bad!

Continuing the list for internet-related services/functions:
7. No chat functions... even for Google Mail or Y! Messenger
8. Safari is slow as hell. For a browser running on OS X, that's unacceptable
9. Why doesn't the Mail function synch with my Gmail inbox? Odd.

Other functions/apps:
10. Camera has no functions other than taking still photos (and pretty dismal ones at that)
11. Stocks... for real this is the most useless function!
12. No MP3 ringtones (all other manufacturers allow you to use whatever file except for Apple)
13. No "External Drive" function for using the 8GB as a flash storage device
14. No function to send files via Bluetooth
15. No ability to edit Word, Excel, PDF documents (what a waste of a good UI and OS!)
16. No "Sleep" screen where the keys are locked but there's a clock/date/battery/signal indicators (again, Nokia, SE, Moto all have this)

I think that's it for now.

Needless to say, I'm very disappointed with the iPhone. It's a great device for launching an incredible touch-based UI in a well-integrated device. But like they say, jack of all trades, master of none definitely applies to this phone.

Once the Sony Ericsson W960i is released, the iPhone will definitely take a back seat.



PS - Want an imaging device - Sony Ericsson K850i has a 5.0MP sensor with autofocus!

If you hate carrying more than one thing in your pocket, get the iPhone, if you can live with carrying the much thinner iPod touch and a cell phone, get the iPod. Best of both worlds.

yo.. i just got my iphone.. i dont have a service provider yet.. is there any way i can mess with it ?- meaning i only have the slide for emergency thing.. thats it.

^^^Which firmware you got???? go to (ModMyiFone.com - iPhone Forums and News) and look for jailbreak guide for your firmware. if you jailbreak your phone then you can use everything except making and recieving calls. Ipod,safari,mail,youtube etc etc will work after jailbreaking.i hope that help
