What new model? Nothing was announced and i havent heard of any plans to release a new model. There working very hard towards software updates which we have seen already and should be seeing again later this month.

^^+rep for helping me. i am so stupid i was playing with customize and rearranging the icons and i unselected all the eye option for icons and now i have only one icon safari on dock. please help me to get my icons back. or do i have to restore then jailbreak/unlocked again???? :S

How to add videos to the iPhone? What file extensions are supported?

I tried dragging some Top Gear episodes to iTunes, but they won't add to my playlist. I'm a goddam n00b when it comes to this iPhone!

To your iTunes playlist?

File>Add File to Library...

It should be recognized as a movie file and will be under your library of "Movies"

Then under Devices, go to your iPhone, Video tab, down at the bottom check Sync movies, then select the ones you want to add to your phone. Then when you're all set, click Apply/Sync.

If you still have the installer icon on the springboard, you can install Xlaunch. That should help unhide all your icons.

As for the video, as long the video shows up on your iTunes, you can sync it over to your iPhone. It will be under Movies or TV Shows library.

As for the ringtones (mp3 ringtones), there is many ways to put mp3 ring tones into iphone. 1. Use SendSong found in installer, there is a option to let you pick any songs in iphone as ringtones. 2. Covert the song into .m4a file extension. 3. Use third party programs.

you can pin point where you are and then pick the location (either search for it or type addy) you want to go and it will give you directions that's it. it won't show you driving.
it's only google maps

You can, but i wouldnt recommend it. It works more like a paper map then a gps system. But once the February update comes out, we should be seeing some real gps devices coming out. Heres just one of the many ive come across.

OMFG! I just discovered the sweetness of the Installer app. Whoa. My iPhone is completely different now. Still sucky, but I love my new theme, icons, SummerBoard, and sounds.

I can't download/install SendSong though, because it only works with 1.1.3, and I'm on 1.1.2.

I've just read through over 800 posts.
Has 1.1.3 verision fixed a lot of the problems?
Is anyone able to confirm if there is a Generation 2 on the way?
OTB can you change your wallpapers, edit, change, and rearrange icons?
OTB does it have games? Can you download games?

Apple - iPhone

You can play games by going to this website through your iphone.
Apple - Web apps - Games
Then you can save(like a bookmark) icon to your menu screen for easy access to that specific game (web app)

Yes 1.1.3 fixes alot of problems (mostly crashing related)
There is no official confirmation ive seen about a 2nd gen iPhone, just rumors.
You cant change the main screens background, but you can rearrange icons.
You can play some online games, but you cant download them.

Keep in mind, the iPhone is still locked. Apple is going to release a SDK (Source Developers Kit) and unlock the iPhone later this month. That means it will be more like a normal computer sooner then you think. This is official and not a rumor, it was announced at the Macworld Expo.
