You can use whatever picture you want as wallpaper!

If you don't know how to add it to your phone read the following quick steps:
make a folder and title it whatever you want like "iphone"
add pics you would like to use as wallpaper to that folder
or -use an existing folder (if you want ALL those pics synched)
connect iphone to itunes
click on photo tab and look for the folder you want
apply setting
sync away

go to photos on your iphone and touch "photo library"
touch whichever pic you want as wallpaper
hit the first icon on bottom (arrow coming out of box)
touch "use as wallpaper"
play with zoom or moving around then "set wallpaper"
there you have it

Well, you can't do that from the iphone.
I think jailbreak allows you to do that.

you need to jailbreak your iphone and install a program called installer to place other 3rd party programs to do it. the 3rd party program you want is called SUMMERBOARD, which will allow you to manipulate your desktop wallpaper.

yea i like that program. just wanted to change some of the other minor things, but dont want to mess it up. I already have enough probs with the damn email and safari.

"restore" it using itunes and keep it clean (unhacked) without ANY third party programs for a week. I had mine unlocked and safari kept crashing. Now i have no problems whatsoever that it's still locked and only use it for music/video/internet.

I just tryed updating my iPhone on a PC and a Mac, but both times im getting the error "Unable to connect to iPhone software update server." Im guessing there getting overloaded with downloads.
