ok for the new phones otb with 1.1.2 i get the error message... older phones i don't have a problem doing this...

i've downgraded it to 1.1.1 installed everything but simfree still doesn't work...

i can basically open the whole phone up except for the phone part lol... u can use iPod, wifi, etc... just not the phone part...

hmmm i think i just thought of a way to fix it... but it's too late to try it... so i'll know 2morrow if it works...

there is an unlock for the 1.1.2 already and is on ebay with positive feedbacks.
I'm not on at&t network anymore. Dropped calls and took forever to load 8thcivic...
my shitty sprint network was WAY better.
Sprint > Verizon > T-mobile > AT&T/cingular

ohh and the only ones i've seen on ebay are the ones that only let u unlock an upgraded 1.1.2 not the one that comes with 1.1.2 otb... the new phones have a different baseband connection...

Warranty. Call Apple or go to their store and tell them the touch screen is messed up and commands are not what they were brand new. Don't tell them about you dropping it though

you don't need to solder anything. it just hooks up to the main motherboard.
