a lady at my job had 1.1.4 at my job... this thing was horrible, it had all these cheesy themes on it (no winterboard) an animated background, and when she put it to sleep the screen just dimmed, but didnt actually turn off... she told me how she loves the phone but hates the battery life... it was JB'd and she was on TMobile, i offered to upgrade it for her, and she was thrilled... going from 1.1.4 to 3.0, probably is the biggest jump ive seen... she probably loves that phone so much, i warned her about landscape text so it doesnt catch her off guard lol

WTF is the point of letting me get so far to rent a movie that i can push the rent button only to have something come up and tell me i need to be near a computer or wi-fi connection because the file is too large?

They should only let you search through the things you can actually download on the phone. If i was right next to a computer why the hell wouldnt i just use the computer to get the movie? And if youre that big of a loser your renting movies on your phone at Starbucks and watching them there then you need to get a life.

Totally worthless feature.

Ok guys, my 8G iPhone 3G has encountered some water damage (put it in my bathing suits pocket and I guess it got wet). It turns on, the screen works perfectly and it's in good overall condition. Only problem is that it doesn't charge. Used this oppertunity to upgrade to a 3GS! Now looking to either sell my old phone as a whole or to part it out. Any of you guys interested? What would be reasonable prices to ask for as a whole and for the phone parted out. Pieces I would sell include the screen protector, the LCD screen, the casing, battery... Anything else?

Yeah I'm trying to figure out how much I can get for it... The phone works I used it for a couple of days until the battery completely died.
