No way. Check out the full review on Cnet. There are call quality issues that most users are experiencing. This is sad because it's foremost a phone. The next problem is that it can't use UMTS, only EDGE. EDGE is good for 90k at best, while UMTS users report 1mb per second. You can't change the battery in it, and the battery will only last 300-400 charges then you'll have to send it in to Apple to get a new one put in. Have fun with that. The phone lacks serious features that other smart phones have, and that is a big problem considering the price. What Apple did was create a trick interface and then tried to sell everyone on it as they have some of the best marketing people in the country. I'm in Telecommunications and my advice would be to skip out on this thing. In a few years they'll have it sorted out but not right now. I like what it could be, a solid phone with a solid MP3 player with solid internet functionality (speed to start) and smart phone features, but it's not that right now and it costs too much. Only Apple nerds and people with more $ than sense will buy this thing right now. $500-600 on a phone that has chitty call quality? Next.

Cool... good to know. Unfortunately, the iPhone has not been officially released in Canada yet, so no iPhone for us.

Hopefully there will be an update service for the iPhone to fix any initial issues... I'm seeing a lot of people complain about the same things.

Just wondering - Why did you get an iPod when you already bought an iPhone? Need more HD space?

PS - Take a pic of 8thcivic on your iPhone

Played with it last night at my ATT store and was very un-impressed. Call quality is bad and the virtual keyboard is dismal. It gets every word wrong. It is a fingerprint magnet and the back of itr looks cheap. Not shiny like an iPod at all. It also has no removable battery, and no sim card slot. It also has to be activated as an individual line in iTunes, no adding it to family plans. Also, there is no eligibility for corporate discounts with an iPhone....I will pass...happy with my BlackBerry Curve. I expected too much.

i like it... i'm ok with the battery lasting only 300 charges. if i charge 3x a week, that's still a good 2 years of usage. people nowadays change cellphones often anyways. the average user probably would change cells between 1-2 yrs., especially with new technologies coming in every now and then...

Since it only is capable of 90kbps, how long does it take to load a web page?

Yeah....my CrackBerry does not fare to well either! EDGE FTL! I hate that 3G guzzles battery power, though.
