so yeah, cyber, where did you download your wallpaper? That's probably the only customizing the phone will allow me to do.

Windows vista is a joke compared to mac OSX. I hate myself for upgrading to vista from XP, it runs like crap. My programs seem to freeze a lot now.. and when they freeze, you get that whole grey screen crap. Or whenever I click on a link, my 'color scheme' or whatever changes and my whole laptop screen blacks out for 2-3 seconds readjusting.

And for what? XP seemed a lot more user friendly and ran better for me.

what is that called on the macs where you hit one of the top buttons and you have all your opened programs in mini mode showing all at once on the desktop area. is that what a widget is? that was the only reason i thought about upgrading to vista, but not now.

You people have to understand, when I say the iphone is cool, i don't just mean fashionable. I mean comfortable. If i want to see a youtube video on demand, right now in my car, without having to go home, I can't do that with any other phone.. If I am used to yahoo widgets, well, guess what phone has yahoo widgets...
If I'm used to the ipod interface, that one's just obvious.
I am still planning on keeping my mda for office2007 amongst other apps, and for the fact that tmobile gives me better minutes.. but the iphone is definetly that multimedia phone, moreso than any other phone I've seen thus far.

for those of you who have 10 minutes, check out phonescoop.coms iPhone review courtesy of youtube...it really shows you how easy it is to use the touchscreen interface. especially at the following times:

(min:sec in)

1:05
3:02
5:53
6:29 ----> my personal favorite
9:20

I love the iphone...but it too limited and lack of application to the iphone. $500 plus or $600 plus, I expect more value to my money. I'll wait for the iphone 2 come out in the future. I hope they listen to the peoples

The iphone is pretty cool, one of my friend's have it and I tried it out. Google maps was pretty fast, and all the features just needs some getting used to.

Yea but the good thing and the reason why I didn't mind buying the first gen is that you will be able to update the iphone with new applications they release for it.

That's what apple's been saying since day one. Even to upgrade the things that there were no reason to not have unlocked on the phone will cost money. I still can't believe that the thing is capable of taking videos, but they didn't activate the feature itself. It's like they thought "Oh, we can just take this out and make money on it later.."

That shouldn't be a big suprise seeing that they did it with the iPod. Every Gen that came out, they could of already added the feature and made it smalled. But, instead they decided to take it 1 step at a time, and make a grip of money. What's next with the iPod, themes?!

iirc its just like when they sold PCs with built in Wireless N, and then would later charge you $5 to unlock the capabilities.
