Everything synced perfectly fine and im up and running just like before but with 2.0.2. Havent gotten to test it out much but so far it seems smoother and faster.

i just bought a white 3G iphone, so far i love it... did the update without any issues, didnt have to unplug after restart,, any tips/hints

Hahaha! White is cool... for the most part though, the color doesnt really matter since you can buy cases for them.

I still dont see how anyone can like the withe one. i had an invisible shield on mine but took it off it looked horrible biggest waste of 25 bucks i ever made.

my son had a issue that it froze and nothing would reset it might be a app. Apple replaced it today and he got a black :)

Just re-jailbroke my phone using QuickPwn. Im running Installer and Cydia and everythings working well considering its all beta. For anybody thats thinking about jailbreaking right now, i wouldnt recommend it. Theres very little content compared to pre 2.0. But if you dont care, then i just want to say for all the 1G iPhone users, it does work!

Does jail-breaking have any use if you are an att customer? What added features do u gain?

Im a AT&T customer. Jailbreaking not only can unlock your phone, but it also adds something called Installer.app, which is basiclly just another App Store. The version im using also has Cydia (just another Installer) I bet you will never see a NES or GBA emulator on the App Store.

that's cool... so just more apps. i've already upgraded to 2.0.2 so I'll have to wait for the new version before I try.

Can you guys block 100% of the data transfer? I'm planning to get an iPhone without a data plan but the phone provider cust relation told me that even though they block the data transfer, it still might go through the 3G data service when I'm using internet with wi-fi.

Any suggestion about this?

You can't turn off 3G, if that's what you're asking. You can use data through wi-fi for free, but the minute you surf out of the range of any wifi, you'll get billed for any data usage on 3G. Sucks, I know.

How do you know if you're still using wi-fi or not? If I use the wi-fi, will the 3G work as well at the same time? I just don't want my bill to be a rocket when I use iPhone.

They do now... I talked with them already and they are willing to sell iPhone with 3 years contract and data plan is optional but suggested.

I can't pay bill more than $60 per month... but eagerly enough to get an iPhone
