ya ive been able to connect everywhere so far.. and when im at work it usually switches between 3g and edge... and the battary life wasnt that bad lasted like 24 hours and i played around with it a lot too. so far im satisfied but i want better games for FREEEE!!!!

Turn the wi-fi off completely. This happened to me at a concert... (sorry I forgot). Anyhow, after calling tech support they explained that sometimes the iphone will stick to wi-fi mode. Sure enough, I turned it off and my iphone immediately jumped on the 2G/Edge network.

Funny part is my friends hosed me with this... "You didn't hear about the satellite problems AT&T has been having?”... lol

as for the cases, i went with the belkin rubber/silicone case which works great. it keeps the slimline of the phone and still protects it. I then use the anti glare full front protector. both were bought at the apple store.

anyone have success with the mac version pwnagetool for 2.0 ?..i keep getting this error 1600 when im trying to restore my ipod touch with the jailbreak!..ahh i cant figure it out..can anyone help?

unlock your iphones and use it for t-mobile
i pay 5.99 for my data plan and can use everything on my iphone ^^

I hate T-Mobile their service does suck here. i wana punch my girfriend everytime she doesnt have reception. So I'm patiently waiting till her contract is over to switch her over to ATT then i can get an Iphone. Is it september yet

So the Honda Music Link does not work with the new iPhone 3G. It refuses to recognize it and charge it. So my Music Link is a complete waste of money...not that it wasn't before.

You can thank Apple for that one since they rewired the phone to force you to purchase brand new car chargers. Gotta love it

How is that so? It works with iPod chargers, why wouldn't it work with the others? It even plugs into my stereo with my iPod nano cable and charges that way.

even ipod docking systems like the ihome don't work with iphones (at least not my 1st gen iphone doesn't) so I can see why your car link doesn't work

so far my iphone/ipod car charger i bought last year works with my 2gen iphone. i know my pioneer ipod adapter didnt work with my first iphone. I think it would charge it, but wouldnt play the music on it.

it could be cause my ihome is kinda old? I bought it after ishuffle was first introduced...ya know, the long ones?

I've tried using my iphone on a friends docking thing and it didn't work

oh well.

I just use that docking thing it came in and plug it into the back of my bose...i'm good to go

QUESTION OF THE DAY: do any of you know if your 1st gen phone is still covered under the 1 year warranty if it is still within the 1 year but no longer used in a service plan?

reason being is i tried to unlock my 1st gen iPhone so i could sell it for more on ebay. long story short, i screwed it up and now i cant get it to restore even in dfu mode, so im hoping i can bring it to a genius bar and just get a new one...somehow i doubt im going to be able to do that...
