I'm back home now... They really gave me a brand new 1st gen. New buds to... Now I have to go through the 2.0 upgrade process again, wee!

Word to the wise, don't disturb anything while your iPhone is backing up or restoring. On the phone I just traded in, there was tones of things missing after the restore. Notes, calendar, contacts, etc. The only thing it saved was one desktop link (with no icon), my photos and music. Not sure if it was something I did or all the issues they had yesterday, but after losing all my contacts... just thought I should share.

The new phone just finished restoring and it's exactly how my phone was before the upgrade. Recent calls, notes, desktop links, everything....

Wish me luck this time around upgrading to 2.0. I've been told about some cool apps.. enjoying the hype- iPhone weekend part 2 ftw.

I have a 1st gen iPhone w/the 2.0 update. My visual voicemail was acting funny. I was unable to hit the button for it until someone called me and I actually got a voicemail. Other than that and having to 'authorise my computer,' it works fine.

So what apps does everyone like?

I paid the $10 to upgrade my iPod touch to 2.0, but have only been playing with the free apps.

Cube Runner is my favorite so far, really clever how it works.

I am looking for a good classic solitaire game, has anyone purchased one of the card game apps?

EDIT: The Remote App is great!

I didnt really get a chance to play around with the apps yet, but i have to say Remotes awesome!

The AIM clients not as bad as people say it is. You can set it to sign you off (under settings) but not being able to turn off the sound drives me nuts. Once a update and Apples push servers come out, the AIM client should be amazing.

Its a Agent 18 case. Its been great so far, its a hard plastic and it protects it well. Only real probably is some dumb drunk b**** knocked it out of my hand and into some sand, so when i opened the case it put a deep scratch in the side of my iPhone. Otherwise its very ridgid and it has protected my phone from many drops and scratches. You just need to remember to take the case off and clean it every once and a while.

Another very similar case, just with a different feel is the Incase Slider (Comes in black or white). My buddy has it and the only real downside is smudging. But it has a nice feel to it.

rofl yea screen gets smudges like no other and the glare was because of the flash.
