Yeah... I just picked up my copy today. Pisses me off no form of our beloved 8th Gen isn't in the game. It better be a downloadable car! Or on Gran Turismo. *Sigh* So sad...

I've had it since it came out and it is, by far, the best console racing game I think I've ever played. I have quite a few cars, but my favorite by far of all the ones I've built is this one:

I call it Pinky, but my roomate calls it the *** Car. I fully-built the 1.5 liter motor that comes in it (saw no point in swapping in a B-series or K-series since it's overdone) and whipped-up one hell of a suspension setup on it. So far I can lap quite a few tracks in this car 1-2 seconds faster than I can in a C6 Z06.

If anyone on here plays this game my XBL account name is i vtak do you. Feel free to send me a friend request. I've done a handful of the Time Trial races and I'm typically in the top 95% range of all the people who have done them. I hope to make that even higher.

we should get a forza forum going on where everyone can list their xbl names so we can all race...maybe even set up some tournies or something

I don't tend to race online that often because for now I'd rather race in the game, make buku dollahh, and build more cars.

Okay, so I picked this game up friday after my surgery so I would have something to do while bed-bound for a few days.. I put it in and my 360 broke.

. Had the game for a day before I could take it to a friends house and play it on his xbox, but when I did.. I found out this is one of the greatest racing games ever (my opinion).
I ended up playing it until 4 in the morning at another friends house on a 60 inch high def tv and that sh!t is fantabulous. I love this game. Right now my fastest car is the wings west civic si fully worked.. I messed up last night and turned traction control off.

That's a mistake in that car.. I'm awaiting my 15 rating so I can do the all n/a race in my integra R.

Oh man.. this game is like heroin for xbox.

Assists are for babies.

Turn them all off. It is more fun that way and you will lap faster times once you familiarize and grow accustomed. The physics feel way too watered down with the assist on and they often hold you back.

holy crap I'm just loving this game.. this reminds me just why I bought my 360.. now, just waiting for GTA IV and Halo 3.. that's all I need.

I have everything off but ABS. My lap times tend to be about a second slower with ABS off so I just said screw it and turned it back on.

My buddy went to go get his today on reserve and when he got there they didnt have his. He was a bit upset...i cant wait to try it!

i got mine friday night. just went to best buy websight to see if any local stores had it. and then u had the choice to buy it there and pick up at the store or have them ship it. there was a few bestbuys in the area that were in stock so i took the chance and bought it at the store. they had alot of copies. but was under lock and key unlike the other xbox games.

Axela is a lot slower than Mazdaspeed 3--not the same car.

Axela is the Japanese name for the Mazda3. It is NOT the speed3, rather the 2.3L hatchback.

Well damnit, I test drove a Mazdaspeed 3 about 2 weeks before I got my FA5...it's a very fun car. I'm really hoping they drop a downloadable content package with the Civic Si and the Mazdaspeed 3....maybe the Evo X or Lancer too?

Man, I'm good with the ABS and STM off.. but it's the tcs (or whatever) that I have to have on. I'll end up playing the whole game again with everything turned off after I get the logitech steering wheel.. Well, that and when I get my xbox fixed.

Are you having problems with oversteer when powering out of corners or getting traction on starts?

Plus I didn't mention this before, but you get quite a bit more money with assists off. Don't forget to put your tranny on manual.

It's only in the game if you bought the LCE (limited collectors edition), which wasn't even available in America.

It has the old design STi and new design STi in it, BTW. I have one for an A-class car.
