Need Computer Help

I have a laptop that isn't being nice. When i go on the internet wireless it will let me log onto non-secure websites. But, it won't let me log onto secure websites like Ebay or yahoo. When i put my user name and password in and go to click the sign-in button on the screen the button will barely move. Then nothing will happen. It doesn't even tell me i have done anything wrong.

Help please
