My next phone will be another lg, trust me. The only time that I broke those phones were when I was throwing a fit and trying to break them.. and even then half the time they took the punishment.
Don't get me wrong, I love my palm treo 700p.. but it's just not the same knowing that I have to be careful or the screen might break.

Why are we just now griping around Razrs? They have been out for 4+ years now. They are VERY old technology.

My LG 8600 broke on me twice, as well as having the weakest hinge on any slim phone I've ever had and tried.

My Verizon RZR is going strong, it's the sturdiest slim phone I've had, even the huge glass panel on the front won't crack from normal dropping.

any phone you treat like shit will break. it may not break instantly but it will break. Lets make a correlation. How many times can you run your SI into a brick wall before it stops working? Just a question.

just get the new samsung SCH-u740. Its the size of the razor but flips open 2 different ways. one way is like a razor and the other is like the LG with the keyboard.

There are two labels that change color when the phone gets wet, one under the battery and another on the circuit board (you'll have to remove the cover). If you try to remove the labels while they're in mint condition be careful they're difficult to peel off intact. If you ever wet your phone immediately power off, pull out the battery ASAP. Put the phone in a zip lock bag with as many silica packs you can stuff in there, seal the bag then wait a couple of days. Worked on my old 3rd gen iPod!

Samsung makes some seriously tough phones too. Not to mention every samsung phone that I've seen made funny noises when it dialed. I wish my palm would make cool noises =P

I keep all my new sneakers in their boxes in the back of my closet and they all had silica pack. You can buy them here: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg..._ce_25223082_3 or in Home Depot (people buy tubs of this to dry out their basements).
