Orb 2.0
Anyone ever used this program? Its pretty sweet if you have a PDA or a phone that can stream media and your in a 3G network. I have a Moto Q and can stream mp3's and Movies to my phone or any other computer.

yea i've been using this for a while now with TMobile (2G) MDA. slow as shit, but it works good over tmobile's network for streaming my entire audio collection, and when using wifi, i can lay in bed and watch a whole dvd right on my phone screen, or anywhere that has wifi for that matter. Some of the new Dell laptops that just came out actually have 3G integrated in them, that connects to Cingular so you can pretty much have internet wherever there's a cell phone signal.
"Dell began releasing, in June 2006, laptops with in-built HSDPA chips from Vodafone, enabling the laptops to be continuously connected to the internet via Vodafone's 3.5G network in the UK and several other countries. The Dell laptop models currently with this capability are the Latitude D420, D620, D820, and XPS M1210 models (see [2]). As mentioned above, the D620 and D820 models are also sold in the United States with HSDPA service from Cingular Wireless. " http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-Sp..._Packet_Access |
