I have two notebooks; a VAIO and a Thinkpad. I prefer my desktop cause the keyboard is full size, has a bigger screen and it has better speakers. So basically for me it's about the input/output, not performance.

Compaq laptop with a 32" LCD secondary monitor, a secondary keyboard, and a secondary mouse.

It's a bit on the slow side......but works great for older games and new apps like office 2007.

I like my HTPC on the 56" DLP display and the 7.1 Elite and Bose surround sound a lot. It is crisp and clear as my other smaller LCD.

2 desktops (one is a server) and 2 laptops (personal & work). A few years back I actually had 4 working desktops at once

Sony and Lenovo laptops, and both desktops are self-built.

It is depending on model of the 14.1" HP. Here are the prices:

14.1" HP pricegrabber.com

14.1" HP at epinions.com

HP by Frys Electronics

I currently have a desktop but I am in the market for a laptop. I love the flexibility it offers. I spend alot of time at friends houses and it nice to be able to check in on things from a laptop. Also I hate sitting at a desk too, I like to lay on the couch and be able to surf the net.

lol i just bought a dell laptop online for 1282.00 online...the original price was 1682.00... but i found an online coupon for $400.00 dollars off the laptop..and think i got a pretty good deal.

I do like the ease of desktops though for gaming...however since i'm currently a college student...i'd like to be able to use it in quiet areas where i can study.

Both. I built our computer, won't ever buy one again (from a store). And just got a laptop 2 weeks ago and I am loving it so much. Right now I am laying in bed listening to the radio (Rovers Morning Glory) and about to take a test. Feels great not to have to be stuck in a damn chair and I can stretch out n do HW.

I don't really care for the KB cause I screwed around in typing class in HS and I type fast but not the asdf method, so I keep hitting the keys next to the one I want. I had to get a wireless optical mouse too cause this pad shit sucks
