Any of you Mac folks have RSS?

I bought a used MacBook Pro off of craigslist about 6 months ago and it is having that issue of randomly shutting down. I have looked into and know that I just have to call Apple and have them fix it. Also, my battery is warped so that needs replacing, too.

Any of you guys have these problems? If so, do you know if you need to back-up all your stuff before you have them repair it? I may want to delete some stuff off of it before I give it to them to fix (mp3s,limewire,CS2, etc.) but is this necessary?

Thanks.

I have a MacBook Pro. A long time ago, when ALL the batteries were warping they simply sent you a new one with a pre-paid box to send your broken one back in. If it is still under warrenty they are incredible about it and will fix anything you ask it seems.

I don't know about cleaning your computer OR backing it up. I think it depends on what they do on their end. I would back up all my music, movies, and programs- delete them- and send it back, just in case.
