Krazor Software

Anyone have the software upgrade for their Krazor phone that allows you to play mp3s/vids/etc.? I've looked all over the internet, no luck. The Verizon store has a kit but it's way too much.

I bought the microSD card that goes with it and the phones won't recognize it w/out the software (Clarify: I can browse the card with the phone, but it won't pick up on my music, etc in th card)

Thanks in advance

Have you tried looking for your answer on howardforums.com ?

Very resourceful site when it comes to mobile phones.

Who is your service provider? Verizon? If you have the GSM Krzr I'm pretty sure it doesn't have mp3 ability. The CDMA ( Verizon/Sprint) has an MP3 player and all you need to do is format the card and put mp3 files in the folder. You don't even have to connect the phone you can use a memory card reader.

VZW. Interesting. I'm able to tranfer mp3's via win media player with USB. However, if I just transfer music into the card by way of the card reader only my phone doesn't recognize it. Either way, it works so I'm happy.

Thanks everyone for your input.

Were you just sticking the songs on the card? Or were you putting them in the My Music folder? Sounds weird, but I guess if you got it working then all the power to you. And good choice on phone . Blue, White or Red?

First I tried dragging the mp3s to the music folder on the card..... krzr wouldn't recognize it though. I ended up installing the krzrdriver & musicsyncfix.exe & use WMP11 to transfer music over. VZW.

How do you format the card?

Hmm I can't seem to find it. There's probably something in the manual. All the newer vzw phones use the same interface and everything so the memory cards are all set up the same as far as formatting of the folders. I just took out my memory card from my old phone and put it in the this one and it immediately recognized it. I think when you installed all your drivers and stuff though it probably set it up for you too.

had the same problem with my razr not recognizing the songs on the flash card even though the card showed something was there. the answer is motorola phone tools, lets you sync email, calendar, transfer files and create ringtones. after i installed that everything is working fine now. as for formatting, don't know if the krzr is the same but on the razr go to settings> phone status> storage device> select options for the card and format
