xbox 360 a/v wires = xbox a/v wires?

does anyone know if the wires from the xbox 360 will work in the old xbox?

It won't. Microsoft has been clever enough to change the connector that plugs into the console so you have to buy a new one. If you use the optical audio out, you can transfer that cable over to the new connector, but that's about it.
