Is this a good gaming monitor?

Hey guys,

I just recently purchased a gaming computer and am now updating to a better and faster monitor at a little budget. Please tell me what you guys think of this one:

To answer your question, yes, it is a good gaming monitor. Very low response time (which is important) so you pretty much have no "ghosting"

I wouldn't necessarily trust Tom's reviews. That site was outed a few years back for accepting money from vendors in exchange for positive reviews.

The VX series are Viewsonic's top of the line. And yes, for an LCD, the VX922 would be a good gaming monitor. As an alternative, you could also consider the Samsung 931C/931BF. The differences are only in the details though: 2000:1 contrast ratio, 97% color gamut (colors are stated as being closer to being actual *shrug*). linky
