I know the PS3 will sell for good money, but 4k to 7k, am going to go camp right now then, that is what the expected price will be off the system 5 days before Christmas, witht hat kind of cash i can do some major mods to my civic
Don't flame me, that is what am hearing,I know there are lots of rich parents that don't care blowing 3k on a system.. How can i ship something by UPS, do i take it to the post office or how do i ship something like a PS3 in a safe way? i can probably have access to 2 PS3 on November thursday at 12pm.. |

Keep in mind that most retailers will only sell the system as part of a bundle for the first few weeks. I've been seeing pricing around $800 for the PS3, a few games, a spare controller, and misc crap. I'd wager that they'll sell for north of $1200 on ebay. I'm planning on hitting up a 24hr walmart somewhere in an out-of-the-way area at midnight on friday morning. I'll follow that up by hitting target and CostCo up when they open friday morning. I'll try and snag a few and get them all up on ebay for 3 day auctions. Figure I'll set the minimum bid at 105% of retail, to cover listing costs etc, then go up from there. No buyout.

if i had the time to wait in front of a store all night, i'd do it...for financial gains of course. Good luck. I probably won't get one for myself until later when the hype dies down a bit. I'll just pick up the xbox 360 HDDVD attachment when it comes out....199 for the hd dvd player, can't beat that really.

Everyone and their mother is planning on buying theirs and putting it up for sale on ebay. There is no way these are going to go for that kind of cash. Ebay is going to end up being a total buyers market, atleast initially. If you do plan on selling yours on ebay you probably should wait until right before Christmas.

I heard that the first shipment of PS3 are kinda like "testers" cause the developers see what's wrong with it first, then in the later shipments over here, they correct the problems. Same thing happened with the PSP... When it first came out, a bunch of people had a Dead Pixels, and in the later shipments, they fixed that problem. Def sell your PS3 when you get it! |
