Nice upgrade. I like texting in landscape and finally the bluetooth menu allows you to connect or disconnect.

One question:

Why DIDN"T the 3.0 update have the tethering option and the picture sending option?

From what I heard, it's only available to only developers, right now.

apple got the approval for picture messaging from AT&T so they are still working on that. At least that's what the AT&T rep said when he came in. Got my 3.0 but it took like 50 tries to get it to work. Dumb activation server lol

Couple good links, I have USB tethering working but not MMS. The phone is MMS enabled but pic messages fail. You will need to find the right ATT_US.ipcc file for MMS.

How to Enable Carrier Bundle Support in iTunes 8.2 in Mac, Windows | iPhone

Enable 3G Internet Tethering on iPhone 3G 3.0 with iPhone Safari

I just read your other post in the iPhone thread, I am waiting to see if my cam icon goes away too. Asuming carrier updates are pushed via cell networks AT&T prob has alot of control over them.

I have also heard you need yo change your TXT feature from the iPhone TXT to regular unlimited TXT.

there's a lot of options that apple promised in the 3.0 update that they didn't include....bastards.
