backup all your stuff and reinstall the OS.
or... Is you're running XP, back up your stuff and do a system restore back to a time when you know it was working. It might fix it. I've had the problem you're having. a full wipe out of the HD and and reinstall of XP is what fixed mine. I figured I'd suggest the quicker fix attempts before doing this nasty job. |
