Trial Version Of Anything

I just thought of an idea. Since some programs come in trial versions, limiting the use to about a month, what If i was to chanage the date to my computer about a year forward, install then switch back to normal. Wouild this allow me to use the trial version for a year? Just an idea.

Not really. Most of those trial dates are like 30 days from the activation screen. You might be able to find a crack on Bearshare or LimeWire though. I've done that before when I needed something but couldn't afford to purchase the program. Software is expensive.

Oh so it counts dwon from when you actually try to install, but not by date.

Yeah, I would go onto limewire and search for the program you want. Alot of times it will be the trial version with a seperate file that gives you the cracked code that you go in and change once you have loaded the program. Its really easy and usually there are instructions on how to do it with the file you download

No, it counts down from the date, but the activation screen usually don't pull up until you have the software installed on your harddrive. The countdown starts when you activated it. Like if you install something and it asks you for a serial number or whatever and if you choose not to put it in, it'll tell you you now have 30 days to use the software. It doesn't start counting until it has or doesn't have that serial number.

What software were you looking for specifically?

I would be pretty careful downloading cracks off limewire or another file sharing program. From what I have read, it seems as though those contain virus' fairly often. I'm not saying they all do, its just a risk.

Or look elsewhere other than Limewire/Bearshare.
