Need Digital Camera Help...

Ok, so I finally got a digital camera. But uhh, I have no clue how to post pictures, particularly on a website like this. How do I make a thread with pictures it? I know you have to type in some code or something then the file name or whatever... can someone please tell me in simple terms... thanks...

set up an account

upload your pictures

copy the IMG line (one of the three under the pictures) and paste it into the post.

ta daa! pictures in the post.

HEY!!!! It works, now there a giant... GIANT picture of my disgustingly filthy computer area.... so, now how do I go about making the picture smaller...?

To make it smaller use any photo-editing software. Hell, even paint will do it for you.

If you have photoshop do this:

Image

Image Size

Adjust as needed



If you only have paint, do this:

Image

Stretch/Skew

then change the % to like 50% and 50%. that will make the photo half as big.

Thanks a lot for the help. I just ended up using paint, but the camera I bought came with some photo editing software, so Ill probably use that in the future. But hey, heres the finished product...
