windows movie maker is probably the easiest for anyone to get, should be included with xp service pack 2, adobe premire pro is a higher end pc based program if movie maker doesnt do what you want, but it not free.

Dunno how to do it with WMM, but when I first started editing video, I used Premiere and some cheap program called Pinnacle Studio. Very inexpensive (you can probably download a legal free version now). Moving onto bigger and better though. Final Cut baby!!!!!!!!!

I thought Final Cut is only for apple machines. Or is that just Final Cut Pro? Or do you have an apple?

Nah, for my G4 sitting at my pop's house.

I need that thing here for my videos and music. My Windows-based laptop sucks for those two things.

I hate final cut, having to render everything before you can view it, Media100 for me, costs a lot more but it can render in real time most things.
