I did this today with Comptech Springs and its fairly simple. The springs on the rear doesn't just pop out by pushing down on the rotors, I had to compress them a little to get them out. Also for 2007 and 2008 model, when you loosen your brake lines, make sure you loosen whar seems to be abs sensors or something to do with the VSA not pictured on this DIY. Anyway, great DYI. Installation went much faster with this as a referrence. Thanks.

Anyone's opinion...

great write up, should come in handy when i do make up my mind, but in the mean time i am still looking. so how are the Tien's treating you??

I was also looking at the Tien's but there are two other products that i had in mind, anyone have any product reviews or opinions on these:

megan-racing-street-coil-over

ksport coil overs

anything anyone's got would be greatly appreciated...

Quick question, I did follow this DIY (Which was great) but i managed to drop a socket behind the front strut into the body of the car. Now everytime I turn I hear it rolling around. I tried to use a magnetic stick to fish it out but no luck, Anyone know where this socket is sitting in my car and how can i get to it? Its driving me CRAZY!!!!

drop zone = VERY BAD!! I had drop zone springs, sleeves, coils or whatever you wanna call them & that was by far the worst ride i have ever had It felt like i was out @ sea battling the waves. Everytime i went over a bump i had to brace myself for impact when my head wacked into the roof

Hey guys I'm trying to do this today and I can't seem to get the two main bolts out that hold the front shock. Any advice on how to take it off.
