put the allen key on there and use a wrench

easier solution - loosen the top nut while the strut is still on the car and you dont need the allen key...

Thanks for the great pics
I am about to lower my 8th gen with Eibachs
What did you torque the bolts to on the upper and lower struts and the shock retaining nuts?

Did my Eibachs today and had no troubles.....cept you are going to want to cut the bump stops as per instructions....they are not so clear but basically i pulled the strut off then once i had the stop out i cut it 50 mm off the top....Install took about 3 hrs.

Guys i got mine installed a couple days ago with some Tein S. techs on my 07 ex coup. The front two tires and the back left were lowered but my back right is higher than the rest, almost looks stock. Is this dangerous to be driving around? will it settle on its on?

will c clamps work in place of the spring compresion tools? trying to find a cheaper way to to that instead of renting a set for $40.

Just finished my install of the Eibach pro-kit on my Si sedan a couple days ago. This diy really helped me because I was doing it by myself. Here are a couple pics.

the damn front took me forever, i guess partly because i didnt read the damn thread all the way through and had to put both struts back in to loosen the upper plate nut. rear was easy as can be, also installed rear camber kit at same time.
