HFP suspension with 18's or 17's?

Ok I have been reading about the HFP suspension and its drop and performance. The perforamnce is pretty good but the drop its ok. Question ...ppl have said it drops about 3/4 of a inch. If I got 18 or 17 inch HFP rims, which tire size would make it look flushed/best or less of a wheel gap? Im confused because on the mugens and their gp's, their rims are 18 and it looks fine with their stock suspension. I dont know if i am explaing this right. but lol yea. Pics would help as well, if anyone has any.

Get 17x8 with a 38 offset and get 235-245/45 tires. 18 wheels look way to big on our civics imo.

17x7.5 with 225 tires + HFP fills the well nicely.

use 215/40/18 if you ever get 18's.
should be straight with 225 as well.

But like i said I have not seen them in person. Everyone is on 18's or most members on here on 18's. Wat are you on? or prefer

would the weight differnce betwen the 17's and 18's even matter that much to reduce gas mileage?

i dont think its the weight difference, i think its like the bigger the rim or tire the more gas used to make a complete one turn on the wheel lol I dont know.
