You should be fine installing it yourself.

I can't wait until I get the HFP suspension, I'm a little short on cash at the moment though .

I say go with 18's. They look better IMO, and the ride quality difference is barely noticable. And if your going with the HFP suspension, I doubt that is a huge issue for you. If you go with a 18 wheel, I say go with a 225 tire, rather then a 215 tire.

I have HFP and love it... I have the stock 17in wheels and tire... its true that the HFP doesnt drop aggressive but its still a decent drop... with 18in it will cover up a bit more of the fender gap...

heres my HFP suspension on OEM wheels..
