Tein H-tech vs H&R OE Sport?

Hey guys! My wife and I are about to get a new Lx sedan, and, long story short, I want to lower it slightly on the way home from the dealership (before she gets it) so she wont notice the difference! She doesn't want it lowered and I do, so I'm gonna have to play a fast one on her!

Anyways, Has anyone had any experience with either spring kit... Tein H-tech or H&R OE Sport?

I want a real subtle drop and soft ride. Just a slightly noticable difference in height and practically no increase in spring rate so as to use te original new dampers.

Anyones 1st hand thoughts or pics? (couldn't find any pics in the suspension pic thread)

Thanks in advance

I have H&R OE sport on my 93 civic for 4 years now, they have been holding up great.

Ride is alittle firmer than stock, handling is greatly improved.

No experience with H-tech, but read good things about them too.

Ur best way to go is HFP... it lowers the car about 0.8 and it comes with shocks and spring... its a honda part so it would be warrant by the dealer and she wont know the differences... just tell the honda dealer to intalled it...

Just remeber at the dealer is more expensive... if u get it from college hill honda is only $550...

$550 springs and dampers? That's not that bad... I was expecting more.

Where did you find this kit for $520 shipped?

I did find through one of my suppliers, that I can get H&R OE Sport kit for $170... that's not bad...

How well do the stock dampers hold up to street performance springs? (pro-kit, s tech, etc)

Oh yea, my wife is finally down with lowering it a little. (yes!)
