Question regarding angle of rear driver wheel when driving

Hi,

I have an 07 Civic EX/NAVI I was recently told by a few friends who were driving behind me that from what they see my rear drivers side tire appears to be bent slightly inwards at the top as compared to my rear passengers side tire. I had the dealer check this out and they told me this was normal and they did not find anything wrong with the wheels. Just wondering if this was normal and what you thought. Thanks.

Did you have a passenger in your seat at the time? Could be because of the weight of the driver causing your left side to sit lowre

Uneven tire pressure? Uneven pavement? Left hand turn?

To answer the questions I checked the tire pressure just prior to when I was told this and they were fine.

First time I was told about this there was four people in the car including myself. Second time was just me also the road I was traveling on was basically level as roads go and if anything would have been graded slightly towards the passenger side towards the rain water drains located on the sides of the road.

Further, it doesn't appear to affect the handling of the car as the car stays generally on a straight course and doesn't drift with no hands on the steering wheel. Was just wondering if this was normal and by design as suggested by the dealer.

can you see it when the car is parked, or is it just other people telling you it has less camber while you're driving?

I don't notice it when I'm parked just people telling me when I'm driving and from what I'm told it's more negative camber on the rear drivers side rather than less.

A 4-wheel alignment test would verify this.
