Lowering questions.

Okay, i've been looking on the forum for lowering information but am unable to find all of it. Maybe we could start this one thread with all the lowering questions/concerns.

1)If you lower your car with the tein or eibach springs do you need a SPC camber kit? And, is the camber kit only needed for the rear?

2)If you lower your car wtih the tein springs and you have passangers sitting in the back, or just a heavy load, will the suspension bottom out or will the tires rub?

3)After lowering the car will the tires wear faster?

4)Will the camber kit keep everything aligned exactly how it was stock, but just lowered suspension?

Those are some of the questions i had. Thanks for any help.

1) yes and no. After you lower the car a certain amount the camber on the back tires tends to be pretty bad. Its not necesary for you to get a camber kit but in the long run it will save your tires. And as far as I'm aware only the rear is needed.

2) I don't have Tein Springs, I have Eibach Sportlines which are relatively the same in drop height and I have no problems with carrying a load. Today I had 6 45lb boxes on my trunk and drove about 25 miles with em with no problems.

3) Read #1, if you don't get the camber kit and an alignment then yes the tires will wear faster.

4) Yes, so long as you take the car to an alignment shop and have them put the car into spec.
