Hurry up and go shopping!!!
I feel ya bro, I want to do that trust me. hahah
I am a all suspension guy... I raced professionally in AutoX when I had my last 2 G3 Integras.

As for shopping, I already know what I want I am just waiting for the Honda dealer to give me a call and say my EX is in! grrr..... it should be done production now... but no notice yet

Supposedly 9/6-9/10 is days it will be in (so my internet manager says).
I am going to get the shopping list and buy what is needed :)

I instealled my rear sway bar when I had my teg (GSR to 22mm ITRs)
Def. was nicer in combination with the aftermarket shocks and springs. I am just wondering if I should just get honda to install the HFP susp. kit for me (should include, shocks, springs, sways) yea? but then again I like to do it myself and save their damn $$$ labor cost. I will see, I think I am going to properly do break in procedure and pay the car off first before I do any real mods. The SI upgrade bars are no biggie though I would think :)

I hear you. Mine is the daily driver too. I'm pretty much going to stick with the Si front and rear sways puls upsizing the tires/wheels. If I get bored, maybe I'll get the progress 22mm rear sway. When the stock brake pads wear out, I'll consider getting some better pads. If/when comptech comes out with an icebox for the R18, I'll consider getting that too. Otherwise, it's pretty much stock for me.

The hardest color to get in my area is the ASM
Barley any here.... a lot of GG, blacks and blues here.

I owned all white cars in the past so... yea... liek to get something different.
I figure, silver goes with the meaning of luxery and since I want the 4dr EX, I think it may be best. I did reconsider white again but I don't like the tan interior too much for its easily to be seen if dirty. I am pretty anal about my cars so even a small spot will make me un-happy.

haha
but yeah. I like to do the SI front and rear (22mm sway). Better tires once it runs out and maybe differnet 16" or 17" rims later too. Would love a drop but nothing dramatic if that happens. Like to keep the comfort of 'luxery'

I have an ASM EX sedan. My previous car was a pearl white RSX-S.

My friend who works as an auto insurance claims adjuster told me that silver is the HARDEST color to match if there's any damage. So the cost to repair if/when it gets damaged may be higher than with another color. Something to keep in mind.

I have an AB sedan, and I still love the color.

My short list is 17" wheels and tires when the stockers wear out, slight drop or HFP kit, maybe a really mild exhuast and intake.

Lot of guys with the AB sedan round here. Time to fess-up, I have an AB sedan EX too. You guys got me putting the front and rear sways on my list of to-do's, but I sure would like to hear from someone who did the sedan HFP spring/strut upgrade. Any takers?

Would love to see pics

And for the paint thing... White is actually harder then silver but then again..to me. They are both equally hard.

Yeah, if I had seen more AB Civics before purchasing my ASM sedan, I probably would have gotten that color instead. In the brochures and on the website, I didn't like AB. But in person, that's a different story. Oh, well. I'm happy with what I have.

Just finished a twisty country back road that I've been driving since the 80's, so I know it like the back of my hand. The Civic EX sedan with the Si front and rear sways, 17" Si wheels and 215/45-17 Avon M550 tires ROCKS! It handles every bit as well as my old RSX-S with the A-Spec suspension, progress rear sway/tie bar, neuspeed front tower bar and Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 tires in 225/50-16. In fact, in some ways it even handles better, since it does not get upset and bounce all over when it encounters a bump in the middle of a high speed turn. I took turns marked for 20 mph at 45-50+ mph under complete control. Steering felt relatively neutral, as much as a front-driver can feel. Absolutely a blast.

If only I still had my 200 HP K20 engine and six-speed manual transmission.... (for country roads only, of course... not for stop and go driving in city traffic).

I can't wait for my stock tires to wear out so I can justify wheels and tires!

NHBP EX Sedan here.

Just wondering..
if the Si front and rear swaybars fit the Sedan, would that apply to other "Si" suspension upgrades?

I've been looking at the Tein springs, but it doesn't say anything about the sedan so I sorta just sat in the sidelines.

Off topic sorta, but does anybody know the weight of the TSX wheels?

From what I've read on these forums, all of the suspension components are interchangeable.

Hey folks,

I am looking at doing the front and rear sway bar changes to my EX-coupe soon. I know at first, everyone seemed pleased with the results, but sometimes perceptions change after driving with the changes for a while.

My EX is mostly stock (except the sound system =) and it is a daily driver. I have some great looking 17 inch rims on order and will mount General Acclaim UHPs on them sometime in October. I am new to suspension changes and am not a racer in any way, shape or fashion - just a guy who wants a bit better cornering and contact with the road. I have some dumb questions below, but better to know in advance than to find out after the installation!

In short, are you all still happy with your handling now? Understeering means that you have to turn the wheel further to get the same amount of cornering? How about bumpy conditions - does the car suspension stiffen when you do these changes or does it mostly alter how the car turns? Is there ANY increase in road noise - this is a pet peave of mine?

Thanks for the update!
