TEIN S-Techs or Eibach Sportlines??

Fellas,
I'm going with either one of those springs..
Can someone tell me how they sit and how they ride?
People who have used these springs please write some comments and suggestions. Thank you.

I have the Sportlines. Sits nice.

Ride is pretty soft. I find they're ok for just bombing around, but I get some pretty decent rubbing on the front with my 225 tires.

And people in the back seat is a no-no now. Even just 50-70lbs in the trunk with a full tank of gas rubs like hell in the back.

when do you get the rubbing? (turning or bumps) and what is actually rubbing for you?

i'm riding on Tein s tech's with ingalls front camber kit and spc rear camber kit. front camber set to 0.5 degrees negative and rear camber set to 1.5 degrees negative. i can load up a full load of passengers. as far as ride quality goes.. to me they ride like stock not to bumpy but not to stiff either. rides good in my opinion. i don't have any rubbing issues

hope this helps.

rim specs (offset and tire size) make a drastic difference as well

Same set up as klk, but on a fg2

love'em way better then stock, no rubbing issues, except for one time on this huge dip i didn't see coming, i run 18's with 225/40/18.
(pics where taken day of install. springs have settled a tad since)

Those that are rubbing on Sportlines are rubbing because they are using wider tires then the OEM 215 size. Guess I'll be sticking with the 215 width now myself. Glad this thread was created.

lol the funny part is it really depends on rim offset for 18's with a 225

Yes, the wheel offset will also determine the amount of rub. Wonder if the OEM wheels would rub with sportlines and 225's. I dealt with rubbing in my SVT Focus. Not doing that again.

Im on S-techs, no camber kit all stock. NHBP ex coupe. It has a nice drop with no rubbing but its not as comfortable a ride as stock. You feel everything!

if you want no creaks, go with sportsline! if you want better ride comfortability i think stech will give you that compare to sportsline...
