Will Si shocks/struts fit on an EX?
Hello everyone, I'm really getting tired of the weak rear suspension on my ex sedan and I was wondering if the stock si shocks would fit on it? If not, does anyone know of some stiffer springs for the rear suspension. I'm not looking to lower the car, I just want stiffer springs so the car doesn't bottom out all the time. Thanks for your help |

I had an '06 EX and traded it for the '07 Si (both Sedans). The suspension setup and location is the same but the spring rates and damper settings are much higher on the Si (I think it has to do with the weight of the engine). I would suggest changing the entire setup however (front struts & springs, rear shocks & springs, rear swaybar) because I think the ride height will change if you just add the Si springs and the higher rate could ruin the shocks.
The Si handles so much better than the EX it is almost unbelievable but after about 500 miles I changed my Si suspension to the HFP setup and a 23mm Progress swaybar. OMG! With Falkon Azenis it corners like it is on rails. Good Luck with your upgrade. ![]() |
