well I decided to call eibach and they quickly send me the instructions for installing the sportlines... And I found out in order to tell the differences between left and right front spring one of the spring has a different part number... well am glad I used that spring on the left side....

Also on the bump stop, ur right, u have to cut 40mm on the front bump stop.... it also requires to do the back... but am not doing simply because I have the HFP shocks and the back was only lower 0.3 after I installed the sportlines...

It will or should drop a little more up settling, i was roughly at about a 1.6 drop in the rear, whilst the stock drop for the hfp kit really only lowers by about .8 inches i believe. you should be a little lower in the rear, seems weird.

^^goin from HFP To HFP w/sportline it lower 0.6 front and only 0.3... Now its 13inch from the center of the wheel to the fender front and back... Its actually an even drop all around...

Hopefully now Ima have to trim the bump stop and see how different it drives after...

I didn't check the part numbers on my springs as the instructions didn't state anything about this. I have no problmes with my ride at all. I cut 40mm off the front bump stops and left the rears alone. The car sits perfectly and I love the ride quality.

Front Spring Right 4.3140F
Front Spring left 4.3240F
Rear Spring 4.3140R

basically the only spring that doesnt have a 1 on the part number 4.3140 is the one that goes on the driver side... which is 4.3240...

you dont have to look at part numbers, rather, match the direction the coils assuming your doing one side at a time, not to mention, they seat in the lower perch according to the spring you need so its a no brainer.

I installed the Pro-Kit springs on my car couples week ago. In the instructions, they said to cut the REAR bumpstops. I did it. Now, i have no problem with the rear but the front ones are buttoming on big bumps.

The problem is, the kit only comes with 2 new sleeves for the back, not the fronts.

Does anyone know exactly "WHY" they say to remove 40mm from the front and rear shocks??? I installed my Sportlines yesterday with no problems. I didn't cut the bumpstops on purpose. I could be totally wrong but, I figured leaving the bumpstops alone might slightly prolong the life of my shocks. If I'm wrong, please let me know.

I do know that, since the bumpstops don't continually rest on the shock body, that cutting or not cutting either way doesn't affect overall drop and handling. So WHY cut them???

I'll add that after 24 hours, I'm only an inch lower all around. About how long does it take Sportlines to FULLY settle???

its supposed to allow for more travel with the shaft being that there is less bump stop, they are there for a reason, if you dont cut them, the ride may be a little bumpier but thats about it, your drop will still be the same.

mine settled after a month, the drop is pretty nice. got pics?
