cutting the bumpstops so u get a little more travel out of your shocks before you hit the bump stop since you're dropped. if you leave your bumpstops alone and lower the suspension, the shocks are now compressed a little more than they were with the stock springs. so every time u hit a dip or a bump or something, u hit that bumpstop and it rides like crap |

I dont really remember how much I cut off on mines but I think theres like 2 grooves in the middle of the bump stop. I think I cut it at the second groove. On the back you dont have to do anything to the shock.

well I decided to call eibach and they quickly send me the instructions for installing the sportlines... And I found out in order to tell the differences between left and right front spring one of the spring has a different part number... well am glad I used that spring on the left side....
Also on the bump stop, ur right, u have to cut 40mm on the front bump stop.... it also requires to do the back... but am not doing simply because I have the HFP shocks and the back was only lower 0.3 after I installed the sportlines... |

I have a question. I myself am trying to decide between the sportlines and the prokits.
Now, I am going to be using the stock shocks until they blow. Hopefully Koni will come out with the yellows. If not, some Tokico HPs. So the question is, will installing aftermarket shocks like these lower the ride height even more? I think I read that somewhere. If this is the case, then ill get the prokit and then get shocks for the perfect height. In the same manner, I would think that the sportlines would be too low for me if they went any lower then the do with the stock shocks. |

Ehh, not low enough for my liking. I think I'm just gonna do the sportlines. I was a little concerned about which ones to go with, but I guess if I don't like the drop, when I get some koni yellows (praying) haha, i'll put the pro-kits on. |

|^well for references... if u have an si FA5 with oem wheels measure from the ground to the fender:
Sportlines 24 1/2 Front and 25 1/4 Back... Prokits 24 3/4 Front and 25 1/2 Back... HFP 25 1/2 Front 25 1/2 Back... this would give u an idea of the drop... |
