The biggest consideration when comparing the two is cost. HFP is usually around $600. A camber kit is not required.

The Tein SS at CorSport is $1275. Add the necessary front camber bolts and rear arms and you have close to $1600 worth.

When I start my "Phase II" mods on my car in a few years, my plan is to get Koni yellow shocks with Ground Control coilovers.

I just wanted to update my thread here. After many discussions with highrev1 and reading this thread, When To Use Camber Kits?/do I Need A Camber Kit?, I've decided that my next suspension mod will be a camber kit to improve the handling of my car. It won't be added in the interested of decreasing tire wear although I'm not going to raise the camber to the point that it starts chewing through my tires.

My nephew, ThatCamryGuy, rode in nomar06's car (which is aligned to highrev1's recommendations) at the Dragon and said his car didn't lean any less than mine, but had a more stable feel to it. I think his alignment is probably more crucial in that regard than the fact he is running Tein SS coilovers and I'm running the HFP kit.

I might make another run to the Dragon with one of the docs at work in a couple months and I hope to have the camber kit and the same alignment as nomar06 in place then. I can give you a report on the difference.

Here's some more pics with the HFP kit:

After I get the car paid off and get something else to drive daily, I'm going for something more. That's gonna be a while though...

...but stayed tuned.

The SPC camber kit is supposed to ship today. Hopefully, that means an install and alignment next week. We'll see what happens...

I haven't noticed any and when I've had them rotated, the folks there haven't mentioned it. The tires are probably getting close to 15k miles on them.
