Thanks. I certainly recommend it. Handling is improved and ride is not harmed. I like the subtle drop as well. I'm going to take some more pics today.

I think I'll be sold once I get to ride in one. The only thing I'm worried about is ride quality...don't want to rattle the car apart driving around NY lol. Hopefully someone local has it so I can get a taste

Thanks. I emailed Progress and they said the stock endlinks were ok to use.

Regarding the shock valving on the HFP struts and shocks ...Hopefully you know what I mean by this....

Can you possibly tell me if you think the compression (think of a wheel going into a pothole) is much stiffer than the OEM units, or do you think the rebound is much stiffer (the wheel "recovering" after hitting a pothole).

From the looks of things, the springs aren't much shorter than stock, therefore the struts and shocks probably aren't much stiffer then the OEM units (nor are the coils themselves very thick also indicating a much stiffer spring)...

I'm asking because I really want to know if these HFP units will serve as a good replacement for my LX shocks (I'd be unable to use the lowering springs due to SCCA Stock class restrictions) until Koni releases something.

Mario, the compression does seem to be a little stiffer than stock but probably not by much. I think that the kit does bring some improvement in handling with just little sacrifice in the ride quality, but I wouldn't consider it a competition kit. But then again, I've never ran in any competitions. Also, the kit does drop the car an inch, so I would think it would be technically considered a lowering kit, but, since it's a official Honda product, I don't know if it would fall within the rules. I hope that helps.

if it's 1" or less it really doesn't make much of a difference...anything more and you will probably need a camber kit

I think I am going to install the hfp kit also instead of going with tein ss...just don't want to have to get involved with rear camber...the drop in the this post looks clean...and if it doesn't change the ride that much...then this is the drop for me...since mine is a daily drive also...

thanks for the input guys...

as long as the drop is between 1.0 and 1.25 anything lower, and you can blow the shocks.

It's a good kit compared to stock but I have to admit that Nomar06 had less lean than me with his SS's at the Dragon last weekend.

i would IMO....anytime you mess with the suspension you just adjust your alignment. Cheap enough & saves you money in the long run from running through tires left & right...people may tell you different but who knows, you could need adjustments prior to lowering & after the drop you'll be worst

You really can't even compare the two.
