Exclamation Good Suspension Upgrade

All these parts i found on Battle Endless Performance

Honda Civic 06+ Rear Sway Bar
Honda Civic 06+ V-Type Strut Bar
Honda civic 06+ skunk2 rear camber kit
Honda Civic 06+ H-Brace Bar
and some lowering springs say 1inch front 1.2 back

would this be a complete suspension, handling and cornering upgrade or is there more? And is there a front anty sway bar?

Please fill me in not very knowledgeble about suspension, i hope i spelled that right :P

Dont get caught up too much on braces, they honestly don't do much if anything at all.
Remember that a huge part of the suspension upgrades are your dampers (shocks) , and a good set of sticky tires.

front camber kit
upgraded shocks/struts
coil-overs instead of springs and struts and shocks would be "the best"

Depends on ur plans for the car

Sounds like you should get the HFP suspension. Lowers an inch, improves handling, dampers and springs designed for your car. I have them and they handle great.

HFP Suspension $500 ish
Front and Rear Camber Kit $250-$300
Rear Sway Bar $150

I only have the HFP suspension and camber kit but am planning on the sway bar later. If you haven't read the sticky thread about suspension I would recomend it. That is where I learned everything about our suspension and made my decisions.

Suspensions!!!

Actually, a spring/shock combo valved and matched correctly would probably fair better than most coilovers out now.

unless you have glue on your tires, i wouldnt worry about a front sway. Front camber kit would be enough.

Other than that, ur list is ok

allright so i want to lower the car lil bit and make keep the tires on the road when turning fast, so rear sway, front + back chamber, what does hfp suspension kit include? are you sure it lowers? ( so SI comes lowered?) and what about a strut bar?

HFP includes front and rear springs and dampers. All the hardware needed to install it also. It lowers the car about an 1"

Strut bar is cool. HFP is like an inch drop, at best. It is NOT standard on Si's. (they do not come lowered) I think its just springs. (edit: see above)

All I have is springs, dropped about 1.5 inches and -2.0 camber all the way around. Dunlop rubber too. I cant complain.

can ya put up a side picture of your ride i wanna see what 1.5 drop looks like, might be too low for me but still curious, plus i bet it improves center of gravity more so its better handling, and less air resistance

btw look at the v strut bar on the post i have all the way up, sais improves stability, so maybe better traction while cornering but im not sure if someone knows a lil more about struts please indulge me...

People argue that considering the way our car is built, where the a-pillars are basically at our strut towers, and the firewall being in the same area, that a strut bar is mostly unnecessary. It will "feel" better, but it really won't make much of a difference in speed in corners.

HFP is shocks and struts and is slightly below or at 1".

Strut bar is gonna help, a little. I will probably get one soon, but I know we're not missing out on too much without it. Like Izzy said, our a-pillars are in a good spot.

that looks good
so 1 inch really wont make much of difference, but i did see someone on hondaautoparts.com or something like that say it lowers like 1.2 inches
( the HFP kit that is)

I've seen a few HFP-dropped cars, and I personally think it looks better than "slammed" cars. The body shape of the car doesn't look good so low to me, IMHO.

Also, you're getting the security that the shocks are valved to match the springs correctly.

It replaces ur stock unit. Its not supposed to flex like the stock one will.

How much more bumpy is it ridewise? Is it about the same as stock? I'm going that route if it is.

would the hfp's work better with other springs(tein or something) than the stock would? cause i could get the hfp setup and just change the springs to get a lil better lowering rate, what ya think?

its hard to beat hfp suspension. like izzy said, its made for your car and id say its one of my favorite mods. comes with everything you would need, i dont think you should waste money on different springs. i really doubt itll do much but hurt it. other springs would probly just lower it a hair more if anything. plus the hfp's are pretty stiff as is
