rusty springs?

Have people ever heard of comptech springs rusting on our cars or others? I was just wondering since I heard a rumor.

If they are, that could be a sign of bottoming out. My megans are bottoming out in the rear and they are rusting .. So i dont know. but its something to take into consideration.

I thought that would happen when your struts were getting bad too? How low do your megans drop it?

i have skunk2 also.. haven't had them long enough to see anything like that happen.. do you live by the ocean or up north where it snows alot? might be the reason they are rusting... just a thought... i've been dowm by the the gulf of mexico and almost all the cars get rust spots due the the high content of salt in the air and sand... or up north cause of road salt for the snow...
