Skunk2 rear camber kit install (not DIY) on Thursday
I'm getting my Skunk2 rear camber arms installed this coming Thursday the 27th in the afternoon at Hybrid Dynamics in Western PA. I'll be getting some pictures of the before and after because I haven't really seen any pics of this kit installed. For instance, the pics of the arms on CorSport's website were deceiving - I thought they were much smaller than they turned out to be. Up close, the kit appears to be of a VERY high quality, both in looks and craftsmanship, and they're extremely lightweight. I got the brushed silver ones, not the gold. I'm from Steeler country, but I don't want a black and gold car.
![]() The pics will include some of the Progress rear sway bar and end links, too...two birds with one stone. |

The first thing I noticed about the Skunk2 rear Cambers is how light they are; I mean it's almost night and day from the stock arms so I agree with you on that one. I am installing mine on Wednesday morning in the good ole garage before I go and get my alignment. I also got the Silver ones as well. I am going to take some pictures as I too have not seen any! The work is going to be uber easy and I am so looking forward to it.

Sweet, well post up in here to go along with my pics from my trip Thursday. I'll post my pics Thursday evening. My car is black and I have the FA5 body, so the appearance may be a tad different. It'll be nice to see them installed on our cars, and I'm sure Skunk won't mind the promo.

The Skunk2 kit is the best all around rear camber kit, my shop said. The SPC kit is easier to adjust during alignment, but I've heard stories about them shaking loose or having issues staying aligned. Is that true? These Skunk2 arms are just beautiful. I may take pics of the kit prior to install so you can see how they look and get an idea of their scale.

Yeah I will ensure that I post my pics in here so we can compare; I too have the NHBP FA5 so it will be good to see two cars same color, same body, with different outcomes. I cannot wait till I get off of work tomorrow morning; I will take a nap for a couple of hours and should have them installed around 1400 eastern... Then I will take it to get the alignment done!

Well, I got a picture of the box, but I didn't have time this morning to unwrap the components from their wrappers; I also didn't want them clanking around in my trunk.
In any case, more pics tonight or tomorrow of the actual arms and hardware.Last edited by BTRobertson; 03-27-2008 at 07:08 PM. Reason: pic isn't necessary anymore |

Here is a link to a thread I posted a while back on the Skunk2 rear camber arms. Page 2 shows the installation steps.

Got lots of pics from install - slow browsers beware!
Sorry my car is so dirty - it's raining in Pittsburgh and all the salt is turning to mud

The end links would've been removed if I would've remembered them at the house. I thought they were in my box of parts, but they were still attached to the OEM rear sway bar. The problem with the CS ones is that are metal-on-metal and have a small rubber boot on the one end that's already torn. They rattle and rub against part of the suspension because of they're angled with respect to the sway. We installed them correctly for sure, but there's nothing else we can do to stop the way they're positioned and rattling. It's so noisy it's driving me nuts, but now I have to wait a bit longer because I forgot my OEM ones. I'm rather annoyed, but CorSport said they'd take them back. The OEM ones will work fine on my car with the redesigned suspension.
The older Civics have issues because the OEM end links work so well that with an aftermarket sway, they're ripping part of the suspension out because of the stress. The OEM ones will work fine, so I'm putting those back on. |

You're gonna love 'em brother, but your alignment shop won't.
You gotta take the one side bolt completely out to adjust the damn things, but once they're adjusted, they ain't movin' ONE bit like the SPC kit does (from what I've heard and witnessed). |
